Snacking while crafting. A perfect combination. One of our favorite ways to extend our crafting session is to snack. But what about crafting our snacks? We’ve done that too! And these cards are adorable!

We recommend the only kind of cans you keep without fear of any potential spill damage in the craft room would be the ‘Soda-lighted’ bundle from Concord and 9th. Isn’t it super cute?! Here are some adorable sample Teri made.

To get the individual letters straight on the words ‘hello’ and ‘friend’, Teri used the cutout negatives as a guide.

The frame for this set is the Nested Stitched Stamps from Scrapbook.com. The Happy Birthday dies are from Birthday Wish die set from Altenew.

These ‘freshly picked’ dies and Plaid Turnabout from Concord and 9th card just makes you want to eat apples on the spot. Savannah painted on watercolor paper with a small brush making little stripes of an orange red color. She used wet watercolors on dry paper to achieve this look. Then she die cut each apple and filled the basket with them.

For an added bonus it is a pull-out die cut card. We are excited about the upcoming Taylored Expressions Virtual Stamp Joy event we will be attending this year which has a whole class on interactive cards!

This simple yet super sweet birthday card was designed by Savannah using the Simon Says Stamps Sweet Birthday kit from June of 2024. You can purchase the full suite from their website today. The kit only included a portion of the dies but it had the full stamp set. Savannah loved taking the time to stamp the background and using a glitter pen from scrapbook.com to make the frosting sparkle and give it an extra little something.

What are your favorite ‘food’ cards you’ve made? And what are your favorite snacks to eat while crafting?
