Evelyn’s favorite craft: Tacos

Evelyn loves to make things out of paper and she designed these adorable paper tacos! The ersatz entree can be used as a gift tag or just to share with friends. Evelyn loves to add these to cards she mails to her friends. It is sure to bring a smile any way it is shared!

All you need to start are some taco-colored scraps and a couple of punches or dies.

First you start off with a 2 1/2 inch circle punch or die for the taco shell.

Next you fold the circle in half, this is the best since it’s a circle there is no wrong way to fold in half.

Cut the fillings with a 3/4 – 1 Inch flower punch or die.

Then build your taco as you please, in real life, mine would have more cheese and sour cream. It needs adhesive on both sides to hold everything together. So, glue or use a tape runner to add the flowers to one side of the shell with as many or as little flowers as you want. When you are done add your adhesive to the other side of shell and close it.

Depending on the type of adhesive you use it may take a minute or two to dry. You can even pop a clothes pin on while it’s drying to keep everything together.
